Survive and Advance…

Got through the first week of camps…It was not that bad, just a switch from sitting around in the office, randomly doing work and playing on Facebook.

But I realized that teaching in small doses is something I can mostly deal with and do. That’s important to know! The reward in a situation like I was in last week is much better than what you have to put up with and deal with during the week. The kids learned a lot during the week, although it was frustrating at times, and that showed through the success of our last activity. It was great to see them succeed!

There really are too many cooks in the kitchen, instructor-wise, but that is only the case for two more weeks. Once we get those out of the kitchen that we really do not need, I think it will go much smoother!
